Dr. Lisa Rounds is a licensed clinical social worker with a Doctorate in Social Work and over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across outpatient, inpatient, school, crisis, and court-involved settings.

She founded Blue Ridge Behavioral Consulting to offer evaluations that are clinically rigorous, trauma-informed, and grounded in real-world context. Her approach reflects a strong commitment to ethical practice, the person-in-environment framework, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.

Dr. Rounds is trained in a range of evidence-based assessment tools, including those used in threat and violence risk assessments, trauma impact evaluations, and diagnostic clarification. Her reports are known for being thoughtful, comprehensive, and useful across clinical, educational, and legal systems.

She holds a Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica, where she supported youth and community development efforts and deepened her commitment to systems-informed care.
